By accessing or using FaceHide (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
FaceHide is currently provided as an open beta service. During this period, features and functionality may change, be modified, suspended, or removed at any time without prior notice.
FaceHide is designed to operate without collecting personal information. We do not request or store names, email addresses, contact details, biometric identifiers, or other personally identifiable information in order to provide the Service.
By either providing us with visual, textual, audiovisual, or other material or by using our service to share content, You hereby accept this content policy as set forth. You acknowledge that any violation of the content policy may cause termination of your service, removal of your content and legal action by both ourselves and the person whose rights were infringed.
The only content we process is the media (images or videos) that you voluntarily upload to the App for processing.
Your uploads are used solely for the purpose of providing the processing service (e.g. face-hiding or related transformations).
We do not use your uploads for any other purpose — including public sharing, profiling, marketing, analytics, or identity recognition.
Uploaded Content and any generated outputs are handled on a temporary basis and only to the extent necessary to complete the requested processing and ensure service reliability.
We do not maintain long-term storage, persistent records, or identifiable histories associated with uploaded Content beyond what is operationally required to provide the Service.
Under no circumstances will uploaded Content (original or processed) be made publicly accessible, published, or shared with third parties.
The Service does not provide public galleries, sharing links, or social distribution features for user uploads.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. You are responsible for any content you upload. You must not upload content that infringes the rights of others, violates laws, or contains prohibited material (e.g. copyrighted content without permission, or offensive/illegal content).
You retain ownership of all rights to your uploaded Content.
By submitting Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, temporary license to process that Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates once processing is complete and the Content is no longer retained.
We do not claim ownership of uploaded Content or processed outputs beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the Service.
Because FaceHide is provided in open beta, the Service is offered "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties—express or implied—including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, and security.
We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the App solely for personal use. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code, or otherwise circumvent the App's technical protections.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or legal expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, including any false representations or infringement of third-party rights.
The Service may be temporarily unavailable from time to time due to scheduled maintenance, backups, upgrades, or unexpected technical issues. In urgent situations requiring immediate remediation, the Service may be disabled without advance notice.
We may revise these Terms or modify the Service at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of FaceHide after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
